An ordinary backyard becomes a meditative sanctuary, with clean, pure lines and simple shapes. The surfaces are natural stone veneer and scoured concrete, with a simple gray plaster in the pool and spa. The eye is drawn to two shallow spillways - the only movement in a serene landscape.
